General Information About the Personal Data Protection Law

Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (hereinafter referred to as KVKK) was adopted on March 24, 2016, and published in the Official Gazette No. 29677 dated April 7, 2016. Part of the KVKK was published on the date of publication, and the rest came into effect on October 7, 2016.

Information as the Data Controller

In accordance with Law No. 6698 KVKK, as the Data Controller, your personal data will be recorded, stored, updated, disclosed to third parties / transferred to third parties when the legislation allows, classified, and processed in the manners specified on this page.

How Your Personal Data Can Be Processed

In accordance with Law No. 6698 KVKK, the personal data you share with our company can be processed in any way, including, but not limited to, fully or partially, automatically or non-automatically, by being obtained, recorded, stored, modified, reorganized, and processed in any way according to the types defined in the KVKK. Any processing of data falls under the category of "processing of personal data" under the KVKK.

Purposes and Legal Bases of Processing Your Personal Data

The personal data you share is processed for various purposes, such as performing services provided to our customers in line with the requirements of the contract and technology, improving our products and services, recording information, address, and other necessary information to identify the process owner within the scope of the Law on the Regulation of Electronic Commerce No. 6563, the Law on Consumer Protection No. 6502, and related legislation. Additionally, your data may be used to comply with legal obligations and other authorities' requirements, for issues related to public safety and legal disputes, and for informing the public prosecutor, courts, and relevant public officials as required by law and for complying with obligations related to information storage, reporting, and notification as required by the law. Your personal data will be processed in compliance with Law No. 6698 KVKK and relevant secondary regulations. Information about third parties or organizations that your personal data may be transferred to.

How Your Personal Data Is Collected

Your personal data, such as name, surname, Turkish ID number, address, phone, work or private email address, as well as user preferences on pages that require a username and password, can be collected by filling out forms on our company's website and mobile applications, or collected from IP records of transactions made, and other data collected by the browser, including navigation time and details, location data, and more. Your personal data can also be collected by our sales and marketing department employees, our branches, suppliers, other sales channels, paper forms, business cards, digital marketing, call centers, and other channels, orally, in writing, or electronically. Additionally, data can be obtained indirectly through various channels, including websites, blogs, contests, surveys, games, campaigns, micro websites, and social media. This may include newsletter reading or clicking activities, data from publicly available databases, data from publicly shared profiles and records on social media platforms.

Personal Data Obtained Before the Enactment of KVKK

Personal data lawfully obtained for purposes such as membership, electronic communication consent, product/service purchase, and other lawful purposes before the date of enactment of KVKK (April 7, 2016) is also processed and maintained in accordance with the terms and conditions specified in this document.

Transfer of Personal Data Abroad

Your personal data collected using any of the methods listed above can be transferred abroad in compliance with the KVKK, as long as it remains within the scope of the KVKK and for the purposes defined in the contracts to countries where the Personal Data Protection Board has accredited and that have sufficient protection for personal data.

Storage and Protection of Personal Data

Your personal data will be kept confidential, as required by Article 12 of the KVKK, in the databases and systems available at our company. These data will not be shared with third parties in any way, except for legal obligations and the regulations specified in this document. Our company will take software measures and physical security measures to prevent the illegal processing of personal data, block unauthorized access, and manage access in compliance with Article 12 of the KVKK. If it is learned that personal data is obtained by illegal means by others, it will be reported to the Personal Data Protection Board immediately, in accordance with the legal regulations and in writing.

Keeping Personal Data Up-to-Date and Accurate

Our company is obliged, according to Article 4 of the KVKK, to keep your personal data accurate and up-to-date. In this context, our customers need to share correct and up-to-date data with our company or update their data via the website/mobile application to enable our company to fulfill its obligations arising from current legislation.

Rights of the Data Subject under Law No. 6698 KVKK

As of October 7, 2016, in accordance with Article 11 of Law No. 6698 KVKK, the rights of the data subject are as follows: The data subject (Personal Data Owner) can apply to our company (data controller) to request information regarding: - Whether personal data is being processed, - Requesting information if personal data has been processed, - The purpose of processing personal data and whether they are used in accordance with the purpose, - Knowing third parties in the country or abroad to whom personal data has been transferred, - Requesting correction of personal data if it is incomplete or incorrect, - Requesting deletion or destruction of personal data in line with the conditions specified in Article 7 of the KVKK, - If personal data is corrected, deleted, or destroyed, requesting the transmission of this situation to third parties to whom personal data has been transferred, - Objecting to the emergence of a result against the person by analyzing the processed data exclusively through automated systems, - Demanding compensation if personal data is processed unlawfully and causes damage. - Phone: +15812215508
